A matter of chemistry

Blueline has very recently completed a successful AS-4146 compliance transition of chemical suppliers to JayChem Australia. The shift immediately allows a significant number of operational, process monitoring, and overall quality improvements. Initial results have been extremely pleasing.

“We have been so pleased with the professional dedication the team at JayChem have shown in managing the transition for us” commented Martin Oldereid, General Manager of operations at Blueline. “The ability to not only remotely monitor but also adjust formulas as required has already seen us producing improved outcomes across our entire linen range” he said. “The most pleasing aspects of the change has been the immediate improvement of efficiency, reduction in water usage and excess chemicals, and our overall quality assurance and operational controls. We know what our clients need and expect and are working hard to exceed those expectations every time” Mr Oldereid said.

Blueline staff on the laundry floor have already commented on the fresh scent and crisp white look of the linen.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Sylvester was highly complimentary of the work the Blueline and JayChem team put in to ensure continuation of operations and a seamless transition of such a significant operational upgrade. “It was a big decision for us to make the shift to JayChem” Mr Sylvester said, “But we have been so appreciative of their thorough approach, their friendly nature, and ultimately the quality and efficiency improvements we’ve already started to see. For us, we want to continue to create meaningful employment opportunities for people aligned with our purpose, and to do that, our product and our service needs to deliver for clients each and every time. We are continually taking steps and investing heavily in ensuring all aspects of our laundry are state of the art and providing our customers the highest quality product.”
